Description
I finally compiled a few of my favorite coin activities...plus a few newbies in one pack! COIN CRAZE! It includes 13 activities plus a list of coin apps. Below is a closer look at what is included!
-Coin Posters: posters for quarter, dime, nickel, and penny that included picture, value, and attributes
-Money Tree Craft: students add money to a tree and record the value
-Build It: students will build anything they can think of out of coins and record their pictures value
-Order Up: students match coin, name, and value and glue to a sentence strip to create a hat in order from least to greatest
-Flip It: students will count the coins and record the value under each flip in their interactive journal or construction paper
-4 in a Row: students will cut and glue coins, value, color, and name in their interactive math journal or to a piece of construction paper
-Count and Record: students will count the coins on each card and record the value on the recording sheet
-Spill and Graph (FREE IN PREVIEW): students spill a cup of coins and graph their coins
-Spin It: students will flip over a coin card, spin the spinner, and record 10 more or 10 less than the value of coins on the card
-It's War: includes 2 versions; students will flip over a card and the player with the highest value keeps both players cards
-What Toy Can You Buy?: students count the coins in each row and record the toy they can buy. Recording sheet will need to be printed front and back.
-Money Flip Flap Book: students match the name, value, and attributes to each coin. Students will glue the matches inside each
flip flap.
-Coin Apps: list of coin apps for an iPad
**Please note this pack was created with a 1st grade classroom in mind. Most of these activities could be simplified or advanced for a lower or higher grade level.**
