This is a fun activity to help your class master counting money. In pairs students will take turns using paper basketballs to try to make baskets in a solo cup. They can tape it to the desk or hold it for one another. This is also a good activity to reinforce graphing. I have included two different graphing worksheets you can use both or choose one. Students really get into this activity they enjoy seeing how much money they have earned in each of the five rounds. Each round the baskets are worth a different amount of money 1,5,10,50 cents and $1. They will have to keep a running total after each shot. When they are done with each round then they will complete the graphs and answer the questions on the worksheet. This would work as a great math center too.
