There are thirty pages of exit tickets in this file. Each page contains two of the same exit tickets. There are exit tickets to identify the front and back of the penny, nickel, dime, and quarter, as well as identifying the front of the dollar bill. There are also exit tickets for counting pennies, nickels, and dimes. Some have the front and back of the coin on it. This is great practice for counting by 1s, 5s, and 10s, which is a topic in common core math in first grade. Money does not show up as a standard until second grade, but it appears on some tests teachers are required to give such as the MAPP. Each exit ticket contains a standard and goal, which is great for teachers who are required to have this posted around all student work. Exit tickets are a form of formative assessment.
