The teacher holds up a grocery flyer card and calls out the name of the food item and its price. Each student builds that amount using plastic coins. The first to correctly build the amount, "wins" the card!
This Grocery Money Game includes a food card for each denomination up to $1 (no pennies).
The packet includes:
• 47 food cards, separated by colour into food groups (amounts up to $1)
• 49 food card templates, no food items included (amounts up to $1)
Students will paste on their own food item cut from a grocery store flyer.
• Blackline template for students to design their own food cards
• Food Group Puzzle Craft for each of the four food groups
