Included in this product are 5 different money games and gameboards. All gameboards are meant to help students count coins up to $1.00. There are different levels of difficulty. A recording sheet and coins are included.
Teacher materials to gather:
Paper clip and pencil to use for spinner.
Fake money (if no play money is available, use the attached money)
Copies of game boards on cardstock, laminated.
Recording sheet, if desired.
Game 1: Students collect coin amounts that are pictured. Includes pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and a dollar bill. Includes the heads and tails of all coins.
Students spin the spinner, and collect the coin that is pictured.
When someone reaches the finish line, the game is over. (They get to collect $1.00) The person with the most money wins.)
Game 2: Game 2 is the same as game 1, except there is no dollar bill and only the heads of coins are featured. This is the easiest version.
Game 3: Game 3 is the same as games 1 and 2, except now students have mixed coins to count. Instead of just one coin, they must gather multiple mixed coins.
Game 4: Students collect coin amounts that match the space they land on. There are no pictures of coins, just written amounts. Students must gather the appropriate amount, based off of what is read.
Game 5: Game 5 is played the same as Game 4, but features different money amounts and a different gameboard.
