The fisher chooses one other player and will ask them for a match to a card they currently have in their dealt hand. For instance, if the fisher has the penny card he will ask one other player for the matching penny card. If this player does not have it he will tell the fisher to ‘go fish’. The fisher will select a card from the pool and the next player gets a chance to be the fisher. If the player does have the match they will hand over the matching card to the fisher and the fisher gets to take another turn for a maximum of two turns. The object of the game is for players to make matches. The player with the most matches wins.
