Introducing money concepts and graphing skills to kids is easy and fun when using dice and fun game boards.
With different styles of graphs, your students will progress and learn in an interactive, hands-on way.
Bonus: A New Money Pie Graph game has been recently added and is a real student favorite!
GRAPH A: Your students will learn to recognize and name each coin and bill.
GRAPH B: Your students will learn to read the names of each coin
and match it correctly from the least to the greatest value.
GRAPH C: Your students will learn the values of each coin or bill and begin to have a growing understanding when skip counting the values of each column on their graph.
For example: As they learn the value of a nickel, they can then proceed to skip count the value of 5 nickels on their graph and verbalize the math: " Five nickels adds up to 25 cents".
This "mini money game unit" is perfect for whole class activities or any math center.
The Dice/Coin Legends are fantastic visual aids for helping children as they play and these can be displayed on the smart board, white board or as a poster on the wall.
Teaching Tips are included with useful ideas and pointers, plus each game board is repeated as a black line master.
All you need is regular dice and your "Little Geniuses" will be Rolling in the Dough!
