Help your students learn to skip count with money in a quick and easy way! This counting dots game is a fun way for students to learn to count coins. Counting dots are easy for students to learn and use discreetly anywhere.
If students can distinguish nickels and dimes from quarters, and can skip count by 5’s, they can use counting dots successfully! The counting dots are based on skip counting by 5’s, and students learn and apply this technique successfully in a matter of minutes.
This set of game cards includes nickels, dimes, quarters, and pennies only (no half-dollars since we don’t often use them in real life). There are a total of 24 game cards. All cards are in color, but you can print them in grayscale if needed.
The cards feature both fronts and backs of the coins to assist student recognition.
