The Math Menu Game and Task cards are a fun and engaging way to review addition and subtraction using money amounts.
Your students can use the work space page for their problems, use mental math, or even add some zip using play money.
The Math Menu Game has a twist. When a player rolls an even number, the player will have to add the two items on the game board space. If the player rolls an odd number, the player will have to subtract the two items on the game board space. The game has 27 problems that students will have to add or subtract to figure out the amount. Other spaces on the game include follow the arrow, roll again, move ahead or move back.
One student will have to be The Chef to check answers.
There are 12 math problems that are family orders. These are food orders that your students will have to add to figure out a total using the math menu.
There is a recording sheet for these 12 problems.
