Money Matters | Financial terms, habits, and lessons for young.
This is a multi-faceted money and life skills lesson. Not only does it go over personal finance and basic economics, but it helps instill good financial habits early, and generates a lot of open ended discussion within the classroom or between teacher and student.
The lesson plan is done in gestalt fashion, where terms are used immediately after being introduced, as well, the method of recall in the quiz/homework section is filled with questions deliberately framed and worded to make the student actually think, rather than answer in knee-jerk fashion.
5 pages of reading and 2 of review that is either a quiz, test, or homework. 1 page answer key for you.
