There’s nothing like a “hands on” craftivity to get my students excited about learning something new.
Help your kiddos learn to identify the fronts and backs of coins
by making this mobile.
My Y5s absolutely LOVED this project and our hallway display turned out awesome.
I’ve also included coin templates for the half dollar
I scanned in a real dollar bill, then adjusted it to use as a header for our mobile giving our “dangler” a bit more color.
The coin graphics are excellent and very realistic.
Adding a school photo to the middle, gives it that finishing touch.
Since we really begin our study of money in February, the “Money Matters Mobile” makes a nice Presidents’ Day
The mobile was a super-fun way to practice coin identification
, as well as value, size
, and what president
was on each coin.
I’m Diane from Teach With Me, hoping your students enjoy making this coin craft as much as mine did.
