I used this for the Year 4 Australian Curriculum outcome
Solve problems involving purchases and the calculation of change to the nearest five cents with and without digital technologies (ACMNA080)
I cut out the cards and placed them around the classroom. Students worked with a partner to go on a ‘treasure hunt’ to find the cards and answer the four questions. Students recorded their answers on the strips provided.
The red and yellow questions are the easier questions while the orange and green are more difficult. I had my extension kids complete all four and my weaker kids complete the first two.
Pack includes 8 tasks (3 or 4 questions on each, recording strips and answer key).
