Product Description
Looking for activities or games to teach your students the life long skill of money? This money unit has everything you need to not only teach your students to identify and count coins/bills, but also provides practice with money word problems. Your students will have so much fun, they won't even realize they're learning!
Activities are Common Core Aligned and include:

Pre and Post Test Assessments: Measure your students' growth and knowledge of money at the beginning and end of the unit.

Find the Coin: A cut and paste activity where students will identify the front, back and value of each coin.

Dollars and Cents: Provides students with practice writing dollar amounts in two ways by using both cent signs and dollar signs.

•Draw the Money: Students are given an amount and asked to draw multiple ways to create it.

•Money Match: A flip and match card game where coin combinations are matched with its value.

•More or Less: Pairs of students will use cards with dollar pictures and determine whether they think the next flipped card will be worth more or less than the first.

Money Problem Task Cards: Perfect for centers or a scoot game, students will solve money word problems including addition and subtraction.

Money Riddles: Can you figure out which coins are in the pocket by reading the clues?

Design a Store and Grand Opening Game: Students become young entrepreneurs by creating a store, picking a product to sell and designing a store display. On opening day, students will spin to see if their store will earn or lose money which they will record in a ledger.

Shopping Spree Game: Using toy store ads (or the provided toy ad) students will decide how to spend $100 and practice recording how much change they should receive.
