These 24 math cards can be used to practice counting money up to 99 cents. There are 24 cards with sets of coins and 24 cards with the matching money amounts. The cards have colorful, cute graphics for Easter.
Here are some ways to use these cards once you have them copied, laminated and cut apart.
1. Whole Group Activity: Pass out the coin cards to the students. You keep the amount cards. Call out an amount of money and the student with the matching card will give it to you. Continue until all cards are matched.
2. Small Group Activity: Show the group a money amount card. The students can then use plastic coins to show you how they would make that amount of money. OR use the coin cards and have students write the amount shown o white boards.
3. Math Center: Put the coin cards in a math center along with the student answer sheet included in the packet. Students will count the coins on each card and record their answers on the answer sheet. (There is an answer key.)
4. Early Finishers: Students who finish early can play a Memory Match game with the coin and amount cards.
Check out other holiday packets by using the custom categories.
