This powerpoint download takes you and your students step-by-step through the process of making a monochromatic fish painting in tempera paint. Students will mix tints & shades from their one color, draw and learn the terms to describe the parts of a fish, and add scales over the dry paint to create visual texture.
All you need are tag board tracers as shown in the ppt, paper, and paint, and black markers. Use the story of Rainbow Fish or One Fish Two Fish to add a literacy connection.
