Monopoly for math
Objective: To get the most points
Number of players: 2 - 4
Materials needed: 1 Monopoly for math game board
1 set of star cards
Each person needs a token to move and then at least 15 more tokens to place on the question he/she got correct
1 pair of dice
36 question worksheet
-Each person rolls the dice to see who goes first; largest roll goes first.
Roll the dice and move that many spaces around the game board
-If you land on a space that is not already owned, find that question on the worksheet and answer it, then check the answer with your teacher. If you get it correct, you own that spot, and you place your color token on that space to show that you own it. If you get it wrong, you do nothing.
-If you land on a spot that is already owned by another player, give the owner 10 of your points.
If you land on a space with a star on it, you draw a star card and do what it says.
-Points are awarded for each space:
Green = 20 points
Blue = 30 points
Purple = 35 points
Teal = 22 points
Pink = 25 points
Orange = 27 points
Red = 30 points
Yellow = 35 points
All 4 Apples = 100 points (must own all 4 to get the 100 points)
All 4 Nikes = 100 points (must own all 4 to get the 100 points)
If you land in Jail you can, roll a double to get out or lose a turn.
