This is a handout designed to help your students practice using Punnett Squares to predict what the offspring of two parent 'monsters' will look like. Students will be required to observe the phenotypes of the parent monsters and then infer their genotypes. They will then have to complete a Punnett Square in order to determine the probability of having offspring with certain genotypes/phenotypes. Finally, students will use all of their calculations to draw what they think the baby monster will look like.
Included are the student handout and answer key as well as a Powerpoint that goes along with the worksheet and contains the images of the monsters. This is a great review of all the skills that students learn in a unit on genetics! Enjoy this freebie :)
