Looking for a way to have students practice geometry vocabulary? Tired of your students telling you they are being descriptive in their writing when you know they could do better? This product addresses both of these!
In this activity, students are asked to draw a monster using the geometric terms they have learned (line, line segment, ray, angle, polygon), then write about their picture. When the class has completed their monsters, the students should share only their paragraph with a partner. The 2nd student should then attempt to draw the 1st student's monster using only the writing.
The following geometric terms are addressed in this product:
-lines & line segments
-angles (right, acute, obtuse)
