Monster Math II is FUN hands-on math that picks up where Monster Math I left off. Monster Math I is all about borrowing from the tens to lend to the units. Monster Math II continues the concept teaching students to borrow from the hundreds place as well as the tens place. The game uses base ten manipulatives to introduce regrouping and lay the foundational skills for subtracting with regrouping (or borrowing). Any set of manipulatives will do, you can even make your own simple manipulatives from the instructions in the game. Players become Monster Feeders, regrouping base 10 manipulatives to acquire enough units to feed to the funny, furry monsters.
