My students had so much fun with the "Where's Little Monster" song last Halloween that I decided to create two more monster songs! Your preschool students will love these playful monster songs & chants. Circle time at Halloween has never been more fun!
1. Five Little Monsters
For this interactive song, print & laminate the five monsters and the bed. Glue the monster cards to clothespins. Start the song with all five monsters clipped to the bed. (The teacher holds the bed the whole time.) Every time one “falls off,” remove a monster from the bed. (Hide it behind you or put it on your lap.)
2. Where’s Little Monster? (Shape Chant & Game)
For this chant, cut and laminate all of the doors and the little blue monster. Place the doors in a pocket chart and, when children aren’t looking, hide the monster behind one of them. Say the chant with your students, and let them guess one at a time which door the monster could be behind. You could choose to have them name the shapes or the color of the door. (Like I said above, this one was a classroom fave last year, and it's a fun way to teach shapes!!)
3. Monster Dance
This is a fun song for music & movement time! Sing the song together and practice all the motions. (This one has no accompanying printables--none are needed because they'll be busy dancing!)
Don't forget to leave feedback & let me know what your students think of the songs! You'll get TPT credits to apply to future purchases when you leave feedback.
