Activity 1: Sorting Prepositions
Have the students choose a card. Either the SLP or the students will read the card out loud. Then the student will place the card onto the correct preposition mat (e.g., below, beside, etc.).
You can also add the point value cards. Have a stack of point value cards and a stack of preposition cards so each student will draw two cards. If the student does not answer correctly, the student does not earn the points.
*Contains: 240 preposition cards, 8 prepositional mats, 2 point value mats, and 8 point value cards.

Activity 2: Fill in the blank:
Have the student choose a card. Either the SLP or the student will read the card out loud. The student must correctly fill in the blank on the card in. If answered correctly, the card may be placed on their mat.
*Contains: 240 preposition cards, 2 mats, and 8 game cards (print as many as needed).

Activity 3: Where is the Monster?
Option 1: Have the students choose a card. Either the SLP or the students will read the word choices aloud. If answered correctly, the student may keep their card. If answered incorrectly, the card goes back into the pile.
Option 2: You can also add the open ended game board.
*Contains: 24 multiple cards and 2 mats.

Activity 4: Picture Cards
Have the student choose a card. The student will then state the preposition based on the picture. To increase difficulty, have the student state the preposition and then use the preposition in a sentence. If answered, correctly, the student may place the card onto their mat. If answered incorrectly, the card goes back into the pile.
*Contains: 48 preposition cards and 2 mats.

Activity 5: Writing Sentences using a given preposition.
Worksheet 1: Have students use the pictures to write a sentence using the correct preposition.
Worksheet 2: Use the picture cards from the above activities and have students create sentences.
