What's In the Truck? is a game for all of your monster truck lovers! This game targets /k, g/ phonemes in initial, final, and medial positions, but can also be used for many language skills, such as describing, naming, and syntax construction.

This download includes:
36 /k/ words with pictures
36 /g/ words with pictures
6 penalty cards
12 blank cards to make your own targets
Game board

Card Games: Place all cards in a pile. Students will take turns drawing a card, identifying what object is in the truck and practicing the word at their level (word, phrase, sentence). If correct, they can keep their card. If they draw a penalty card, they will lose one truck. Whoever has the most trucks at the end is the winner! You can also print two copies of each card page to play matching, memory, or Go Fish.

Board Game: Place all cards (do not include penalty cards) in a pile. Students will take turns drawing a card and practicing their word. If correct, they roll the dice. Whoever gets to the finish line first, wins!

You can also use the cards with any other game you have, as well as the board game for other targets! Enjoy!
