Pink, Green, Blue and Purple Monsters have empty mailboxes that are waiting to be filled with Valentine’s cards! The first player to distribute all of their Valentine’s cards (by following the directions on the game cards) is the winner.
This game is inspired by one of my favorite games on TPT, (Rudolph’s Crazy Cookie Exchange by Pam Dahm of TpT.) I created a Valentine’s Day themed Version.
This game targets following directions that include adjectives, valentine vocabulary, and singular/plural nouns. I’ve even used this game with my articulation students targeting their /r/ sound.
How to play: Each player begins with 6 Valentine’s cards in his/her personal pile and take turns following directions to find a specific Valentine to give to a specific monster. But watch out! Don’t catch the love bug or you’ll be forced to steal a Valentine from a monster and add it to your personal pile. Or maybe you’ll get lucky and get hit by one of Cupid’s arrows!
