In an imaginary social networking world called "Montespace," the nine most important characters in the Alexandre Dumas novel The Count of Monte Cristo have plenty of cyber drama. Help your students bring this complex network of characters to life with these paper profiles!
These are similar to farcebook templates, but much more specific to the wonderful world of this novel. The profile templates were created in Microsoft Publisher for legal size paper in order to enhance the effect of looking at a real online profile page. By completing the profiles successfully, students display in-depth knowledge of each character's background, motivations, development throughout the novel, and relationships with other characters. Makes a great final project after (or ongoing activity while) teaching the novel.
These were designed with the Signet Classics Abridged Version in mind (ISBN 978-0-451-52970-1), but will work perfectly well with other versions. If you are using a significantly abridged version that does not include all the characters found in this pack, simply ignore those profiles.
