Some ways I have used this work in the classroom:
Because I am a Montessori Kindergarten teacher who works in a Charter school, I need to make sure that the work the students do in the classroom align with Common Core Standards in Arizona. I have tried to keep the integrity of Montessori in that I have created cards that do not have cartoon/caricature figures. Instead, I use this in our language work as one person, partner or group work.
I use this as a storytelling work where this sentence has to be a part of a story they create and tell a friend.
I use it as drawing prompt or a way to inspire telling stories with pictures.
I use it as a handwriting work where the student writes the sentence or change one word in the sentence.
I use it as mystery bag activity. I also use it as a diagraming sentence work (what is the noun?).
