The Sound Table Procedure
The Sound Table is established solely for the purpose of teaching the sounds that a letter makes. The Sound Table will give you a systematic approach to teaching sounds of letters and tracking each child’s progress. The Sound Table procedure ensures the child is not overwhelmed by learning too many sounds at once but works at his own pace on three sounds at a time until they are mastered. Because of the pace established at this table, it can be used with children as young as two-and-a-half years.
In this start-up kit, you’ll get the complete guide to the Sound Table procedure, a phonetic guide, sound book covers, secret message book covers, a calendar to keep track of the participation of every student in class, sheets for tracking each child’s progress, and book checkout sheets. You’ll receive everything you need to employ the system, with the exception of sandpaper letters and sight-word booklets. The booklets and letters are available in separate purchases.
