One board shows the Pythagorean theorem with a right triangle that has two equal sides. The other board shows the Pythagorean theorem with a right triangle that has two different sides.
Print in color, black and white, or on colored paper. Card stock is recommended. Cut out shapes, and lay them on a green paper backing.
In the traditional classroom, this may be used in geometry lessons to show a visual and hands on proof of the Pythagorean theorem. Students can explore with the cutouts before a lesson is given, or they can be glued into math interactive notebooks.
