Three-Part Cards are one of the most common reading activities used in the Montessori classroom.
How to Use This Work:
The child reads the label and matches it to the picture. The child then checks her own work using the control cards.
What is Included:
This work is a set of cards in three parts: 1) control cards with a picture and corresponding word, 2) picture cards, and 3) label cards.
This is perfect for the reader who has learned all her individual phonemic sounds, but is still learning the key phonograms.
How to Prepare the Work:
Print single-sided and laminate to preserve. Cut along the lines.
Store in a pouch, tray, folder, or box.
I recommend sorting out 8 or so cards per set into separate pouches so as to not overwhelm the child.
