This wall-displayedn system is how I monitor overall behavior in the class. It is colorful, individualized, and highly visible, providing high motivation based on the earning or loss of prizes or privileges. I use this setup on a monthly basis as an itinerant Title I reading teaching in an RtII program in several elementary schools. It can be adjusted according to time constraints, availability of given rewards, or level of complexity. This program can be utilized with any grade, but is particularly motivating for Elementary level students.
I have included multiple versions of the system in color and black and white printouts, as well as in Word document format for those who wish to customize, .PDF format for best printing, and a small packet of suggestions and basic instructions for the product.
When I have hung my own Monthly Check-In wall, I plan to add photographs to further clarify the setup of the visual aids.
