The monthly data notebook is a quick and easy way to monitor the math and literacy progress of your students each month. Students can set goals and graph their own data. It is perfect for parent teacher conferences to show growth for each student in your class. It is also very helpful to catch the students who are not making progress and decide your interventions. We have been using these data notebooks in our class for the last two years and they keep us organized and focused on the skills students need support in. There is also a page to send home to parents each month. The parents will know exactly where their student is. Another helpful page we have attached is a homework and nightly ready page. This is great to pull out at conferences and show the parents how many nightly readings and/or homework assignments they have completed. The kids, parents and teachers love these notebooks. It keeps everyone well informed!
