Monthly Self Portrait and Name
This pack contains a page for the children to draw a picture of themselves and write their name each month in order to monitor progress. It includes every month, each with a different border that represents the month. June and July are included for year round schools or if you want to include it for the children to do during the summer. I have revised this pack to include an October and November page for Canadians. I also added an additional page for August, September, November, December, and February, so there are 2 pages for these months. There is also a cover pages dated 2015 – 2016, 2016 – 2017, 2017 – 2018, 2018 – 2019, and a page without the date to use for future years. I have also included the cover in color if you want to copy just the cover in color. I am always so amazed to see the progress they have made throughout the year!
The children draw a portrait of themselves and write their name. They color the border that represents the month. I like to start the first day of school. I have them draw their portrait on the cover the last month of school. You can bind these pages or put them in a 3 prong folder to send home at the end of the year. If I bind them, I laminate the cover and a blank page at the end. Parents love this booklet and are also amazed at their child’s progress. The children are really surprised when they look back through the months. They usually deny those first months.lol
