This mini unit is a 4 day unit on Matthew Henson. He was an African American Explorer and co-discoverer of the North Pole. The zip file includes two power point presentations. The first one is at the 3rd grade level. The second one is at the 4th grade level. This unit includes a lot of photographs and illustrations about Henson. I thought that the Power Point format would be cheaper than printing them all out.
I always ask for another teacher's reaction before I post a file. This is what she said, "...This looks like it will be a great unit...The questions all look good and I like the way you have some questions that involve critical thinking."
