Product Description

Young students of literature often struggle to describe the mood of a story or poem beyond using simple words like "happy" or "sad," and frequently confuse themes with emotions. This slideshow helps students employ a broad range of words to describe the mood of a piece. Students then move on to clearly distinguish between moods and themes. They will practice these skills by viewing beautiful works of art, describing their mood, and identifying the themes expressed by the artist (see "Themes in Art" in Literary Analysis Bundle)
