This activity includes several components. There is a bilingual word list that should be introduced before the lesson begins. This can be done through word walls, sorts, etc. Then, there is a list of classical music. I give this chart to my students, and as we listen to the music, they fill out the chart with the appropriate mood words. You may use some, all, or none (use your own music). After the entire lesson, there are 4 short (paragraph) stories. Each story has a specific mood, and after each story, there is a line for students to write the mood that they perceive in that story. This may be used for guided or independent practice or assessment. It can be used in conjunction with other activities also.
