Enjoy this neutral winter visitor resource pack to bring a little fun into your classroom that all students can participate in regardless of the holidays they celebrate. The Moose on the Loose uses a stuffed animal that travels around the classroom and brings a little winter fun along with him.
I found a little stuffed Moose/Reindeer in the dollar section at Target, and created The Moose on the Loose! All you need to do is find a stuffed moose yourself (check Toys R Us, Walmart, Dollar Tree, Target) and use this resource to create lasting memories!
Included in this resource:
*A letter to students explaining who the Moose on the Loose is and what he does (in color and black and white)
*A list of 30+ places to hide your moose or nightly ruckus he might commit at school for the kiddos to see the next morning
*A daily journal that can be used as a class to document what Moose is up to, or make one for each student to document Moose's time in your classroom. The journal has a cover and intro page, daily journal pages (which can be copied so that you have as many days as you need), and reflective pages of Moose's time.
*'ve added a PDF tally chart to use for choosing a name for your Moose. Project it and use on an interactive whiteboard or print out.
I hope you can join in on the fun with this non-Christmas focus visitor!
The original version is still included.
