Teaching air pressure and fronts is probably one of the trickiest concepts students have to know in the weather unit! I've created another practice sheet for students to practice identifying these terms and applying them to a weather map.
Students will have to:
-sort weather symbols and definitions for high and low pressure, cold, warm, and stationary front, and a barometer
-interpret a weather map with the primary focus on air pressure and weather fronts
This would make a great in class practice, homework assignment, or assessment.
This practice directly supports Virginia Science SOL 4.6.
