These cards are designed to provide parents with activities that will help to increase their children’s ability to: use eye contact, imitation, and sounds, follow directions, make choices, use meaningful speech, and increase vocabulary.
Use these cards for families whose young children are receiving home-based speech, language, and communication services. Since we often give families handouts, or verbal coaching strategies, these cards were created to offer them short, one-page strategies or activities to use with their children. They can be hole punched on the top left and added to individual metal loose-leaf binder rings and shared with families to meet their specific needs on an as needed basis. The first page outlined in black is always the introduction page to the topic.
Laminate for durability. Cut on lines to make quarter-sheet pages.
