Here is two levels of morning check - in, calendar, and weather all in one! The packet includes a calendar where students choose the month from a field of three visuals, the weather from a field of four visuals, the season from a field of four visuals, and a matching picture to picture to learn the days of the week. There is also a feelings check - in that allows the children to respond if they are happy, sad, or mad and incorporate the zones of regulation with the appropriate colors.
The second level of check in can be used as a paper copy. Children can answer how they are feeling, and it incorporates the curriculum "Zones of Regulation." The zones are the following, green - happy, blue - sad/sick, red - mad, frustarated, yellow - silly, nervous. They will also practice writing the date, talking about weather, and graphing the temperature. I have used this to check in in the morning, practice literacy skills, and science skills. The kids love all of the bright colors!
