MORNING MATH! DAILY REVIEW/PREVIEW! YEAR-ROUND TEST PREP!
This 3rd Grade Morning Math pack includes 90 days of printables for the second semester. These printables are an excellent way to establish your morning routine. Using these morning work pages will ensure that your students begin their day with meaningful work as soon as they enter the door.
This morning work has been thoughtfully designed in a sequenced, organized way so that concepts will build on each other. Many foundational concepts are introduced in ways to allow students to explore and develop a concrete understanding so that when you introduce the concepts within your curriculum, students already have exposure and background. If you encounter topics that haven't been covered yet in your curriculum, morning work can provide an opportunity for students to preview and get excited for what is to come!
This continuous spiral review model allows for students to be exposed and re-exposed to key concepts throughout the school year allowing multiple opportunities to learn the concepts.
Each day includes different questioning formats so that students can learn and practice the content in different ways. At least one "test prep" style question is included every day. These questions are designed to familiarize students with standardized testing format. Your students will get a daily dose of test prep without any extra prep time from you!
While the morning work is designed to include lots of review/preview of multiple concepts at once, you'll find that the weeks have been grouped to have a sequential focus. Here's a preview of when different skills will be highlighted and be the focus:
