Morning Work: Morning Work Set for the 1st month includes a combination of math, language arts, social studies, and science activities. PLUS, there are a ton of fun brain activities to get your students’ minds working as they begin each new school day. Never hear the phrase, “oh no, not again!”
The morning work activities were created for 5th grade students to work on as morning work but they could also be used at a center or in any other way you choose. They could just as easily be used for advanced 4th graders or 6th/7th graders as a review. I put them up on the board each morning for students and then discuss the answers at a set time each day.
Each day's Morning Work usually takes between 5-10 minutes but there are a few that may take longer. Answer keys are provided for each week. When students are absent or out of the room for meetings, these Power Point slides can easily be printed off 1 on a page or made even smaller with the week's activities all on one page!
Other options would be at a center or for use in any other way you choose.
This download includes 32 weeks worth of activities.
