These pages are intended to be modeled first, so that students will become familiar with the format-later they should be independent. One of my customers mentioned using themed traceable words as an addition to her class' word wall. I LOVE that idea, so I've created word wall cards to go with this product: DECEMBER WORD WALL AND TRACING What a great way to build vocabulary. This may also be used as homework.
Common Core Standards included:
ELA
Segmenting Syllables Grade K–PA 2.b
Production of Initial Sounds Grade K–PA 2.d
Segmenting Three-Phoneme Words Grade1–PA 2.d
Segmenting Four-Phoneme Words With Blends Grade1–PA 2.d
Math
Cluster: Know number names and the count
sequence.
Standard 2: Count forward beginning from a
given number within the known sequence
(instead of having to begin at 1).
Standard 3: Write numbers from 0 – 20.
Represent a number of objects with a written
numeral 0 – 20 (with 0 representing a count of
no objects).
Cluster: Count to tell the number of objects.
Standard 5: Count to answer “how many?”
questions about as many as 20 things
arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a
circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered
configuration; given a number from 1 – 20,
count out that many objects.

Although this is aligned to kindergarten standards, it may also be used for students in first grade/second grade who are struggling or need more practice and help. It might be a great way to aid in remediation of some students. Advanced Pre-K students might also benefit.
**UPDATE 12/10/13 Clipart printing problems in boxes 7, 9, 11 and 12 have been fixed. Customer requests for dotted alphabet lines have been updated.
