These editable print-practice sign-in sheets will give your students practice writing and spelling their name, memorizing the days of the week and dates, coloring, and counting. With this resource, you can make a personalized, traceable sign-in sheet for every student in your class in minutes. Just type the student's name in any text field. The rest of the fields will fill in automatically. Then print!
The sign-in sheets in this bundle work with the free Adobe Reader. You don't need to install any fonts or Microsoft software. The art is "blackline" so it will copy clearly.
This bundle gives you all of our sign in sheets resources and any that may be added in the future. In addition to the twelve themed sign-in sheets, you get every custom version, such as versions for:
- Long names
- Extra long names
- Alternate days of the week.
- Students who don't attend every day of the week.
- An unlocked version you can edit in Adobe Acrobat.
- Students who don't need dashed lines to trace any more.
- Spanish days of the week.
- Editable days of the week.
- Field trip or special event sign-ins.
- A version where you can enter every students' name on one page.
Here's an up-to-date list of the themed sign-in sheets included in this bundle.

How I use 'em
I make a bundle of six sheets for each student and put the bundle in their desk or cubby. Every day when they come in, they write their name next to the corresponding day of the week. At the end of each week, I give them a little sticker or feedback in the space provided. At the end of the six week term ...time for a new set! You can even keep the bundles as back-up attendance and to see their printing progress.
Having students sign in and practice writing their names is great routine to establish at the beginning of the year.
For differentiation, you can give a blank sign-in sheet to students who can already print well.
Occasionally, I'll print one out, cut off the days on the left side, and give it to a student who needs extra practice printing their name.
