Product Description
This activity calls for students to read Richard Connell's classic short story, "The Most Dangerous Game" and analyze its themes and literary elements. Then students can compare what they've read with what they've read in William Golding's novel, Lord of the Flies. This packet includes one page of prereading questions, one page of literary elements, one page of "thought questions" pertaining just to the short story, and two pages of questions comparing and contrasting the short story with Lord of the Flies. For convenience, the entire text of the short story is included as well (15 pages) in case it is unavailable where you teach.
