Product Description
Mostly Monsterly is one of my favorite read alouds! The main character is an adorable monster named Bernadette who just doesn't quite fit in with the other monsters! I love using this book to teach character traits because Bernadette gives great examples of evidence for the many traits that describe her. For example; she is thoughtful because she makes homemade cards for all of her classmates.
This product includes step by step instructions with pictures for how to make Bernadette, two graphic organizers for identifying her character traits, and two different writing papers to write their final draft on. The writing papers include a blank version, and a version with sentences starters to help struggling students. In the end, when you mount the Bernadette craftivity and the final character traits writing on a bright construction paper, it makes a wonderful craft to hang in your classroom!

I hope your students enjoy this fun craftivity and awesome read aloud as much as mine did!
