"Mother Goose: A Tale of Lost Sheep and Friendship," is a fun, thirty-minute play written for young performers (grades K-2). Little Bo Peep is very sad; she's lost her sheep and doesn't know where to find them. After much searching and help from all her nursery rhyme friends, the story has a happy ending as her sheep are found and her friends join in the celebration.
Filled with familiar rhymes, chants and songs, this is the perfect play to perform as a culminating activity for a phonemic awareness rhyming unit or a year of fun and friendship.
Casting and costume ideas, staging suggestions and recommendations for successful practice are included. This play has been performed successfully numerous times to the delight of family and friends by the teacher/author and her classes.
