Product Description
Looking for a one-of-a-kind Mother's Day Gift? Here is a cute and handy Mother's Day craftivity that your students can create and proudly give to their mother or grandmother for Mother's Day. This craftvity includes several different kinds of labels that your students can decorate. Each label fits around a 16 ounce icing can. Your students will love "turning trash into treasure" for their Mother's Day Gift. This is also a great way to instill the 3 R's concept in your students. (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!)

About 2 weeks before Mother's Day I ask my students to send in a clean and empty 16 ounce icing can with the lid. I tell them it is for a special TOP SECRET project.

My student's have made these useful collectors every year for Mother's Day. I have included 3 different variations of the craft just in case you have a sibling of a former student a year or two down the road and you do not want to repeat the exact same Mother's Day Gift for the family! Also, you may have twins, etc. one year and each student can make their own special gift for Mom.

The first variation is a "Laundry Loot" Collector for the laundry room and all of the loose change Mom will sometime find while doing the wash. This decorative label includes a cute poem about "laundry loot". The second variation is a "Box Top" Collector for keeping all of Mom's Box Top coupons that she has been collecting for her child's school fundraiser. The third variation is a "Pull Tab" Collector for Mom to put all of those soda or beer pull tabs she has been saving for the Ronald McDonald House or other charities.

Mom will think of her sweet child AND the year they spent with you every time she uses her special container. What a great keepsake!

Thanks for checking it out!
