Mother's Day can include grandmas and aunts as well as moms! This emergent reader book activity about Mother's Day can focus on either a mom, a grandma or an aunt, to celebrate their importance in the life of your student. In addition to the versions with the different women, the booklets also come with a set of either a boy or a girl or illustrations.
This is ONE activity with 6 different choices. The text is the same in each book except for the word mom/aunt/grandma. As the text is in the first person i.e. "I can give my mom..." there are different illustrations for boys and girls.
The Preview shows the entire collection.
There is also a BONUS item-Mother's Day cards for either a boy or a girl to make. If you want to have lines on which the children can write, a template is included so that you can run it back to back with the card.
This inclusion of different women allows each child to honor that special "mother" in his or her life!
