This resource is a 16 page book for students to complete for Mother's Day. Not "mother" specific for those students who may have a different family make-up. This book would work for mother, aunt, grandmother, step-mother, or any special lady in the child's life!
This book is about figurative language-specifically idioms such as; heart of gold, break a leg, peas in a pod, I'm all ears, apple of her eye, cloud nine, piece of cake, sick as a dog, over the moon, time flies. Each page is a poem with a cut and paste area to put the real meaning of the idiom in the blank.
Each copy has two student pages to save you paper. Completely black and white for easy printing!
