A fun way for students to make a lovely Mother’s Day card and practice symmetry at the same time! This engaging activity includes 3 Mother’s Day cards, each with three levels of difficulty. The difficulty level 1 worksheet has a completed drawing so the student can focus on coloring the picture symmetrically.
The difficulty level 2 worksheet has half of the image shown on the left of the page and a partial drawing on the right. The student must complete the right half and then color the completed image symmetrically.
The difficulty level 3 worksheet has half of the image shown and the student must draw the other half and then color the completed image symmetrically.
The cards are: Mother and Baby Owl, Heart & Butterfly, and Happy Flowerpot.
Set your printer to “Actual Size” and print the cards on cardstock or regular printer paper. If you print on cardstock it will make a more sturdy card that can stand up.
