I taught 1st and 3rd grade for years before finally moving up to 6th grade. When I taught the younger grades I could always find something cute for my kids to make and give their mom for Mother’s Day. Teaching 6th grade has been a little tricky when it comes to holidays because my students no longer want anything “cute” to take home – they’re BIG KIDS now and cute is NOT cool!
These lottery cards are a quick and easy gift for mom. There is a Youtube link in the download on how to make them scratch and win cards. Add a cellophane bag, some ribbon, and a student-made card and you have a great gift for Mother's Day!
As a side note, we "painted" our circles with Q-tips and it worked MUCH better than brushes.
